How is the new look for my blog? I personally quite like it, and Dear said it's nice too. Makes it more enjoyable for me to post things up here as well.
Anyway, it's back to school for tmr! It's gonna be the routine lectures, and tutorials, plus two lab sessions this week. I dread that, cos I will have lab reports and assignments to do at home. That takes up quite a lot of time. Last semester, we were playing with E. Coli and some DNA stuff, wonder what we'll do this time. First lab is probably something concerning pH and buffers. I had to take out my jc notes to complete the tutorial the other day. I really wonder how come I have modules doing with Chemistry, when I never really liked it in the first place. (Yet, Dear is an Applied Chemistry major!) *wonders* The life science lecturer is quite interesting though, as he would offer rewards of 20 cents or so to people who would answer his questions. Sometimes it really works. Haha. He said E. Coli are simple creatures too, cos they only eat, sleep and reproduce. Perhaps I should be an E. Coli too, that's a simple life. Then again, I think not. Haha.
Congrats to one of Dear's frens! He just got himself a girlfriend over the weekend, quite interesting to hear a little bit of what happened. Of cos I can't write it down. Haha. Happy for him too! May they stay blissful..aww, so sweet!
I did go watch a movie on Saturday, that's Finding Neverland starring Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet and some other really cute children. A story of a man, Sir James Matthew Barrie and his friendship with the Davies family, that led him to create the play of Peter Pan. A nice show, and really fairy-tale like, especially the scene of Neverland. I liked the movie, and I would recommend it to others.
That's about it for tonight. I should be doing my tutorials now. Ciao!

It's early Thursday morning, and yet I feel like it's the weekend already, almost forgot I still have a lecture tomorrow (or later). Perhaps I should be reading through my notes instead, but I'm idling my time online. Not really idling, since I'm writing this post! Got a good link to chinese music and music videos, so I'm just happy watching and listening to those, plus a few games of minesweeper, and spider solitaire. That's what I play, not MapleStory, which is the IN thing now.
Well, since I'm feeling so bored, or rather reluctant to do work, after completing all the tutorials for this week, I shall think of what I want for birthday!! Haha. First on the list, I would love to have an iPod Mini. The player jus looks so cool, and sleek! Recently, I'm quite tempted to buy new handphones too, and the one at the back of my head: Samsung E700A. Simply can't get it out of my head, and the worst part of it, I keep seeing people using the phone, which makes the phone even more attractive to me! I think that's about it for the gadgets stuff. I know, I won't be getting any of these actually. The thought of it is enough? Nah, I don't think so.
Next, let's go onto clothes. Haha. Well, I'm not a big fan of "shopping", but I firmly believe in the wonders of retail therapy when one is in a lousy mood. Even window shopping, or buying the most little of things helps. Perhaps shopping vouchers would do too? On second thoughts, no no. All I want now is a new pair of Levi's Jeans -- certainly a good investment, considering how often I wear all my jeans. Thinking if I should allow myself to splurge to buy a Levi's top for chinese new year. It's RED in colour!! I usually don't wear red for new year, though that's the most ang or auspicious colour for the occasion. How about revamping my wardrobe? But it's not easy to find clothes that I like...hmm...So that would take a million years, at least?
What's next? How about a pampering treat for my hair? Let it undergo some treatment to restore some shine (was there in the first place?), or should I damage it further by adding more highlights to it? See how it goes, it all depends on my cashflow, which reminds me, I've no ERS shares! So no extra money to claim from the government, ARGH! Haha. Never mind that, maybe can claim a little subsidy? (I doubt so, but it's a possibility nonetheless). First thing to be done to my hair before chinese new year is to get a hair cut, and it has to be done by next week. Even then, I have no idea which salon to go to! But one thing for sure, not back to Pointers at Far East! I wonder why I had gone back there a second time, when I already hated it the first time I went there. Peer pressure. Of cos, I still hated it the second time. So where to go this time?! Any suggestions?
On a shimmery and sparkling note, of cos I won't mind having a diamond! I forgot to mention in the previous post that Qiulin and I entered a few jewellery shops on our shopping trip too. We took a quick look at pieces from Soo Kee, SK, Lee Hwa and Gold Heart etc. I don't really ask for much, since I'm not very much an "accessory" kind of person in the first place. Just a token for 21st birthday!! Who will give it to me?! Hee²..
After writing so much, it only goes to show how fickle-minded women can be! Dear always says I'm so indecisive, which I kind of agree. Most of the time, I'm more than willing to let other people make the decision. At least they would be happier getting what they want, perhaps, or so I think. I hate it when I'm forced to make a decision, and sometimes he does that, though he claims to be helping me :(
Well, enough crap for the day. Time to get some sleep, I still have lessons tomorrow. I want to watch a movie, suddenly feel deprived of it, though the last one I watched (Kungfu Hustle) was not that long ago. Over the weekend, or next week perhaps. Nitey!

Just a short note, before I get back to my work. Yeah, work surprisingly. I don't have a choice, as tutorials start tomorrow. Haha. Even then, I slept most of the time away today. Just keep sleeping, thou I do not think I am very tired actually. MSN is not doing me any favours too, seems to be having problems signing in. So I can't talk to anyone else. Might as well, if I really want to do my work. Hee².
On Saturday, I went out with Qiulin to do some shopping. Sadly, I didn't buy anything. All I did was to trim my eyebrows. Did a whole lot of walking around in Orchard area, so my legs were kinda aching. Afterwards, Dear joined us for dinner at the la mian restaurant. The food was quite good, and definitely not as spicy as the one I ate at AJISEN- Volcano Ramen. Just went back afterwards, though I wanted to spend more time with him. But, he promised me he will next week. Yeay!
I hate to go back to school. Looking forward to the next weekend, or any public holidays, off-days, and what have you.

Wow..that's a quick one, my second post. Haha, the reason is simple. I'm bored and I have nothing to do online. This is one good thing about knowing how to add pics in the blog, so I can let the pictures do the talking, rather than typing out in words.
Here's a series of photos that I jus took. All in my room..haha..

My 'first' post in this blog. Haha. It doesn't come easy, since I have put off writing it for a long time already. Today, however, I am very bored. So here I am, hopefully it's not a bad start. It's a good time to start in fact, since it had been a rather exciting past weekend. In the meantime, I'm always trying to do something to my template, figuring out how to use the html stuff to add little things here and there. So far so good, I guess. And I can add pics in here too, that's an achievement, and bonus, so that it's not all words. Haha. I hope my blog doesn't become too grumpy, cos I'm usually only inclined to write then. So skip the reading if it does get too bad!
Well, the year 2005, many people I know are gonna turn 21. Exciting to step into adulthood, haha, or so I tell myself. But still, you can try cheating on the entry fee into a public swimming pool on a weekday afternoon. No harm for that. Anyway, the point is, need to buy and share lots of birthday presents. Nothing new, except that the prices peak somewhat at this age, or does it rise exponentially? Haha.
So, on Saturday, went out with Meihui to go shopping for Wanling's birthday present. The initial plan was to get a Tiffany & Co. pendant, but of cos that had to go, since the prices were way out of our budget. Still it was an experience going into the shop. Then we went inside HUGO boss, and saw a dress that cost $700+. MY GOSH! Who would buy? Of cos not commoners like us, and definitely not me. Take out all the money in my bank and it's still barely sufficient. Haha. It's all about branding, and the image. I realised all these shops have very well-groomed sales personnel. The one in HUGO boss looked like a model even, tall and slim. Anyway, that was how the day went. In the end, we didn't buy anything, and didn't get to meet Wanling cos she was busy shopping for diamonds with her mother. Haha.
Then, on Sunday, we met up. This time to have lunch at Sakae Sushi, not to mention I had dinner at Sushi Tei with Meihui the previous evening. Haha. So not too much excitement at eating Jap food again. Just ended up walking around the shopping centre. Nothing to bag home too, the top that I wanted to buy is gone. I already asked around 4 shops, but it's nowhere to be found already, so I have to give that up. No retail therapy.
In the evening, I joined Dear and his friends to go watch the 2nd Leg of the Tiger Cup Finals, which Singapore had a good chance of winning. Seriously, when I jus reached Kallang, my enthusiasm was reduced by half. The crowd just has this effect on me. So I should avoid crowded places and occasions. Haha. Anyway, it was like national day. Almost everyone was dressed in a red tee, or wearing the official tee that was free. Me being the one with the attitude, refuse to conform to wearing red, I chose to wear my bright orange tee instead! That would be easier to spot me too, if I were separated from the rest in the crowd. So you can imagine the entire national stadium- a sea of "bloody" red. Well, and one very small crowd of white, that's the Indonesian supporters. I was worrying for myself since I was seating quite near them. So scared. Haha. I don't know much about soccer, so I can't comment much. According to the guys, it was quite a good match nonetheless, with praises for the Singapore defence. As for me, I just realised that I'm more and more attracted to Lionel Lewis as I see him save the goals time and time again, plus he looks like he's got a good physique out on the field. Haha. Shhh...Then it was dinner, and reached home almost at midnight. Still have school the next day, and yet I ended up 'doing survey' with Qiulin and Edwin till late. Yawn.
Nothing much to write about school. It's just as boring as ever. The hassle of having to print lecture notes, and tutorials, but yet I don't read them. At least I haven't read them until now, since school started more than one week ago. I have no motivation at all. Sianz.
Today is free day. Slept the entire day away, feeling so bored and tired. That explains the mood at the side-bar. Feel a little grumpy, again, that's why there's this post. A flu is coming down on me. Take care.
