My big breakthrough?!
Look what I've received in my mail box! Email correspondence between my fyp supervisor and the prof who provided us with the dataset:

Have you got the final results of the analysis? If yes, can you send it to Dr Soong for possible inclusion in the presentation at Berlin next week?
I will be on leave from 16 - 25 February. So, if you would like me to read the drafts before final submission, please do so before then.

Here comes the big BUT.......
I'm not ready with my complete written analysis, to be sent over for the profs to see!! Oh well, it's just not meant to be.
Better just work harder and get on with the thesis. Like now! :p
